Enrollment

Applications for enrollment are acted upon without regard to race, religion, color, national origin or sex.

Signing In/Out

Please sign your child in/out every day as you enter and leave the building, with the time in/out, and pick-up person. Please remember to always contact WonderKids by phone or text when your child will be coming into school late or absent.

Meals

All lunch boxes should be equipped with cold/ice packs. Lunches will be heated when necessary and must be sent to school in microwavable containers.

Nap Time

All Toddler and Preschool children are required to rest/nap in the afternoon for a period of approximately 1 hour, as stated in the DCYF Regulations. Parents are required to provide 2 fitted cot sheets (crib sized sheets) and one blanket, clearly marked with your child’s name, which must be taken home to be cleaned at the end of each week, and returned to school the following week.

Clothing Needs

Every child must have 2-3 complete sets of clothing to remain at school, and used when needed. All clothing must be clearly marked with your child’s name. WonderKids is not responsible for lost clothing.

Infant Supplies

Parents of infants are required to bring in diapers, wipes, 2 porta-crib sized sheets, 2 changes of clothes, bibs, diaper rash cream, an extra empty bottle that can be used for water, and a training cup when appropriate. Our center is equipped with cribs, highchairs, and developmentally appropriate toys.

Picking Up Your Child

All children must be ready to leave the building by 5:30 P.M. Parents should arrive for pick-up, no later than 5:25 P.M. to avoid rushing your child. There will be a $1.00 per minute fee for any late pick-ups after 5:30 P.M. and must be paid at that time.

Calendar Schedule

Parents may choose one FREE week during the course of one year from the date of entry. Parents are responsible for tuition every week except the one free week. WonderKids must receive written notification of the free week requested, at least one week in advance. Single sick days may not be substituted one day at a time, but may be substituted if your child is out sick for the entire week.

The office must be notified in writing and approve any changes to your child’s schedule, to ensure proper child/teacher ratio at all times. WonderKids will only close when a Statewide Travel Ban is declared, which will be announced on 63 WPRO AM or 92 PRO FM. WonderKids is open 5 days a week, year round with the exception of set forth Holidays. When Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve fall on a weekday, we will close at 2:00 P.M. In the event Christmas Day or New Year’s Day fall on a weekend, we will close for either the Friday before or the Monday after the holiday.

WonderKids is open year-round with the exception of the following observed holidays:
